I think that it is easier to make small posters and give to people in person and ask them if they are interested. I would also tell them in person what we will be doing in that peer-couseling group and all the fun things that we have to do.
uhm.. I think it would be two-way communication because you can tell the whole school about it through the pa system and also put up posters telling the students about what the group will be doing and telling them where and when it will happen
I think a post on a School Website or a Letter to go home would be most effective because with Facebook everyone reads almost every post written so mabey that post will interest them. For me, the best medium would be through posters and announcements because people can see the poster on the bulletin board and tell their friends about it. I think announcement and posters would be the best medium to use in promoting a new student group. i think its best because people listen to the announcement and if they ever miss the announcement or forgot the information they could always look at the information on the posters. I know how it feels to not hear what they announce because I'm kinda late and cant focus on what they say in the announcement and sometimes i forgot what they say and ill b like "what did they said or whats the place" so posters can really be a good thing it helps half(but many people still listen) of the people that didn't hear the announcement or just don't really listen to well(like me).In this paragraph i have talk about which medium would be affective in promoting a new students group at school.
